Your Electrical Future is Here

 by Teresa Pesce

News flash! Heritage North Electric is not only a full-service electrical contractor, it is your door
to the future of electricity in your life.

“We are set apart by our comprehensive lighting design creativity and our mastery of all the
latest Smart Home™ technology integration,” says business owner Tim Stevens. “We also have
the experience to offer whole home generator installation, battery backup, and we provide a high
level of service and quality that our customers appreciate.” What about installing an electric car
charging station? Yes! They do that as well.

“We made a conscious decision to be at the forefront of our industry and set the standard,” Tim
explains, “and that makes the unique difference in everything we do. We are always looking to
advance the business to the next level.”
Their goal of building strong, long-lasting relationships with their community, says Tim, is
founded on their choice to work for a higher purpose and do the right thing in all situations. “We
want to give our clients complete assurance that we will take exemplary care of them through the
entire process from open, up-front communication and our concern for their home as we work in
it, to the confidence we give them that the job will be done the right way the first time.”
A licensed and certified master electrician and licensed contractor, Tim has been in construction
for 26 years. “I’ve done a wide variety of applications including commercial projects like
restaurants, apartments, and businesses. I did remodels and new construction and also worked
with Tesla™ as a commercial field service technician for large photovoltaic and battery storage
sites.”
Unlike most of those in his field, Tim relishes the design aspect of lighting. “I like working on
investment properties and appreciate opportunities to work with designers and architects. I enjoy
the art of accentuating and complementing interior elements such as counter tops, cabinets, and
furniture. Dock lighting is another fun element, not just the walkway but submersible lighting
around the dock that creates a glow, and canopy lighting in the boat lifts.”

Tim is now uniting his unique combination of skillsets in his own business launched in 2019.
Tim says, “I like the technology and integration of lighting control, and different aspects of
automation. Customers sometimes prefer to start small, then add more as time goes on and they
become comfortable with how it all works.”
For early adapters, Tim can install Tesla™ power walls. “They are a big battery that has a lot of
cool tech capabilities with it, and you can run your home off the battery for power outages,” says
Tim. “I like niche things, specialty items, and technology that is intriguing. It is virtually
limitless as to what you can do, even linking to Alexa™ and Google Home™ to voice control
everything.”
As an expert contributor to LPO Neighbors Magazine, Tim plans to publish four articles
a year educating readers about the exciting options available to them.

Together, Tim and his “amazing wife Malissa” are looking forward to “starting down the
path of farming” 40 newly purchased acres in Clark Fork. A former junior high and high
school teacher, Malissa will home school their five- and six-year-old daughters and
together they will love living life in our community.
